Ten Too resumes in style
After an absence of 3 months from the racetrack, Ten Too resumed in emphatic style at tonight's Easter Cup meeting at Addington. The sole back marker off 20m, he bobbled early for driver John Dunn before quickly making up the lost ground. John received the perfect run for the last lap on the back of the favourite, the Phil Williamson trained Yankee One. Coming to the 500m John elected to save ground by gambling on a run through the middle. The gap came at the 150m and he powered through recording win six for his career from just 14 starts.
John was confident of a good first up run, but thought that the horse would still derive plenty of benefit from the hitout.
Ten Too is a pretty cool dude of a horse as I found when I followed him throughout his day today.
10.50am - Looking for some more tucker!
11.50am - Time for a pre-race dip
And then doing the damage on race night!
