Addington Friday

This Friday's Addinton meeting presents another chance for the stable to push into the 90's in terms of wins for the season. For Johnny there are many good opportunities as he continues the quest for 100 wins for the season.

Romes Burning is fresh up from a break in Race 4 for the boys'.  He will be driven by Matt Purvis and will be needing his share of luck after drawing barrier 8 from the 2000m mobile.

Comenche deserves to go out a hot favourite in Race 6 after his emphatic victory last week. He has drawn well in 3 and with a repeat of last week's run looks a massive chance.

Kotare Mahal a stable debutante is fresh up after a very long break in Race 7. He has pleased with his work and is expected to go a bold race fresh up. With a nice run through from a handy second line draw he should be a good eachway hope.

Lionels Meddle, Samuel James and Mach Banner all go round in Race 8. For Lionels Meddle, this is his 1st start in 16 months. He is fit and well, but will now a power of luck in a top field. Samuel James was a top run last time, but drawn out at 8 and with some smart ones inside him, he will need a lot of luck also. Mach Banner showed his class last time dealing to a good field. However, with the in form Luli Midfrew and Bit Of A Legend engaged, he will need to be near his best if he is to go back to back.

Elios looks the class act in the last race of the night, Race 11. He has been competitive against the top 3 yr olds and looks thrown in, in this race. If he is to continue ahead to his Breeder's Crown target he would be wanting to be show his class against this lot.

Good 3 yr old Elios resumes in Race 11 and looks a top winning chance.

Other drives for the night for Johnny:

Race 2 - Flying Frances  - produced a real nice run for 2nd last time. Is drawn to get a soft trip and must be a good eachway hope.

Race 3 - Doctor McDreamy - a first upper for Andrew Garters. Watching this time.

Race 9 - Bert Powell - has been ultra consistent this campaign. Would clearly be a hope if on best behaviour.

Race 10 - Machie Mach - was only so-so last week. Probably needing luck this time.

John has also been "gifted" a walkover win on the Andrew Stuart trained 2yr old filly Angela's Image in the 1st of the non-totes. This is a great gesture on the part of Andrew and will ensure that John is guranteed at least the one victory for the evening.

In summary:

Best Bet - Elios

Best Eachway - Comenche and Kotare Mahal
