Its business time for Johnny

Johnny has proven over the last couple of week's that good things take time. However, at tomorrow night's Addington meeting, he is a man on a mission as he seeks to gain the elusive win 100. He appears to have a number of good drives that can do the job for him.

Johnny's final word for season 2012-2013.

Race 1 - Kotare Mahal. This horse has been backed and beaten in both starts since a spell. "He has had excuses both times. We got knocked over early on fresh up and then last start after getting back from a shocking draw, copped a terrible check 600m out when about to launch. He has drawn a little wide, but we will probably look to push forward early and find a spot. He clearly has the ability to win a maiden at short notice, hopefully it is this week."

Race 4 - Cabo Wabo. "He is fresh up in the boys' race for Jason. He doesn't have any form but seems well in himself following a spell. From the good draw, he may be able to get an economical run and would be an outside chance at huge odds."

Race 8 - Lionels Meddle and Mach Banner. "Lionel has been going super since coming back. In a smallish field he could well be a leader in this race. If they leave him alone he is definitely an eachway hope at odds. Mach Banner does look an excellent chance. He can just take his time early on and then work into it with one run. He is the class horse of this field."

Could Mach Banner provide John with win 100 for the season?

Sunday - Rangiora

"Providing he backs up well from Friday, Kotare Mahal can go around again Sunday. He finally has a draw to use."

"Our last runner for the season is Blazin N Cullen in Race 9. He produced a good run driven upside down last time. I actually thought that he kicked on pretty good. This race looks to have a lot of speed in it. He will be driven for one run this time and if close enough on the turn can finish right over the top of them".

Addington

Race 3 - Doctor McDreamy.  Produced a handy run 1st up and a definite eachway chance.

Race 5 - Comenche. Now with the Cran Dalgety stable. Has had a gear change since his last start. Has been going good races, but will need to be at peak to beat the Hope's one (Copy My Past).

Race 7 - Flying Frances. Continues to race honestly and has draw to put herself in race and be at least a place chance again.

Race 9 - Lewis H. Has real gatespeed and should cross them and lead. If they leave him alone, it could be at their peril.

Race 10 - Highview Conall. Has a good draw, but generally just battling runs of late.

Rangiora

Race 1 - Prince Of Gems. Was a solid 1st up run, but probably more of a place chance especially from the draw.

Race 2 - Midnight Mayhem. Has had no luck since a good second here 3 starts ago. If he reproduces his run from last time on this track a big hope.

Race 4 - Classic Vogue. Was a pretty good run 1st up from a wide draw. Stuck on well. Much better placed on this occasion.

Race 5 - Captain Thunderjet. Not an ideal draw but has run good races in all starts to date. Given a bit of luck must be at least an eachway hope.

Race 7 - Johnny Eyre. John quite likes this Mike Brown trained runner. From a handy draw could be a blow out chance at odds.

Race 8 - Priscilla P. Was ok in a weak Forbury maiden last week. Needs to lift.
