The boys' are back in town!

After a much earned late winter break in Hawaii, both John and Dexter are back in the country. They are straight back into the fray also, as members of the South Island team, in tonight's island of origin event at Alexandra Park. The draw has not been particularly kind to either however, as always these type of events are often more of an opportunity to catch up with mates in the industry.

Sunday will see the two driving at Methven in the first of the grass track meets of the season. There are only the two stable runners engaged Sunday, in Mr Meddle and Cabo Wabo.

Race 4 - Mr Meddle. This horse didn't really show a lot on debut, but is much better than that, as he showed winning a Rangiora trial on Monday at Rangiora. You need to be handy on this big grass track and from the draw, Mr Meddle will hopefully be given his chance to shine.

Race 6 - Cabo Wabo. The formline does not tell the true story of this horse's ability. Dexter is on this time and has always been convinced that there is a bit more there than what he has shown. He is drawn to get an economical run, so if you are looking for one at odds, then have a crack!

Next week will see a huge team engaged as some of the "big-bangers" start to get serious on what is Maurice Holmes Vase night. It will be one to look forward to.
