Westview syndications want you in their latest syndication
The successful Westview syndications want you, as they syndicate their latest acquisition Mach Cruiser.
The Westview syndicates have become a regular fixture in the Robert Dunn stable over the past four years and have enjoyed great success with many of their previous 13 syndicated horses. Nigel Armstrong, syndicate manager lives and breathes harness racing and is all about getting more people into the sport and even more importantly having the opportunity to have a share in a racehorse.
"We got into it about four years ago and started with a share in Fiery Achiever," said Nigel. Things have built nicely for Nigel since then with some great success with horses such as Lumos, Geisha Girl and more recently Living Legend, to mention a few.
"Gavin Smith put me onto Mach Cruiser. There was an opportunity for us to buy the horse which we did."
Before coming south Mach Cruiser had been in full work and arrived at the Dunn stables in Woodend about a month ago. He has impressed in his work and connections were really impressed with a trial at Ashburton last week, which indicated that he is ready to race.
"He lost around 80m at the start in that trial, before putting in a huge effort. After working hard to catch the bunch he was still able to run home in an impressive 800m 55.5."
Mach Cruiser is an 8yr old Mach Three gelding and has had 58 race starts for 7 wins and 15 placings, for over $38,000 in stakes. He is sound and set to go.
Presently there is 30% of the horse left to syndicate. You are able to get into the horse from as little as a 1% share. A 1% share will cost you $125 up front, 5% $625 etc. Nigel has indicated that this will be the only costs that you will be expected to pay in the first two months of training. This will be reviewed after two months, taking into account any stakes that have been won.
