No Doctor Needed on the move

After running 8th in last week's New Zealand Trotting Cup for the stable, No Doctor Needed is now northern bound and will continue his racing career under the guidance of Steve Telfer and Chris Garlick at Papakura.

No Doctor Needed raced 27 times out of the Woodend Beach stable and recorded nine wins and eight placings for just over $121,000 in stake-earnings.

Robert advised today that principal owner Scott Plant had suggested a change of driver for the horse after his unplaced run in the cup and favoured northern reinsman Scott Phelan in this role. As Phelan is a regular driver for the Telfer/Garlick stable it made sense that the horse be relocated to the north. Plant already has a number of horses trained by the partnership as too does another owner in Steve Stockman through his role with Stonewall Stud.

Robert wishes the connections all the best for their future racing of "The Doctor."
