Addington Preview - Friday
There are four stable runners set to go around at Addington tomorrow night.
Kotare Kasai is the first of these in Race Two. She produced a nice first up run at two, before racing against the better fillies in her next two starts. She has made good progress in her new campaign and has prepared for this with a workout win and a trial placing. She has the ability and does get into a race in which she should be competitive. The biggest problem would appear to be the draw, however, with a lot of pace inside her she may be able to slide over into a handy position. Look for her to be running on with purpose.
Kotare Yael in Race Four has made a good impression in his four starts to date. Awkward draws have made things difficult for him the last couple of starts, but overall he is going well. The stable rate the horse and his biggest issue again here appears to be the draw - 4 on the second row. If Ross is able to get a tow into it at some stage and he is able to get handy he should be a big threat and is certainly a first four chance.
Living Legend in the 6th for the Westview boys and girls looks a great chance in what is a junior drivers event for Matt Purvis. He has a handy draw of four over the 1950m journey and it is hard to see him out of the money. He looks sure to start favourite and you can be sure with his big syndicate of followers, they will be cheering him home all the way up the straight. Best of luck to you all.
Mr Meddle and Craig Smith combine in Race Eight, the feature over the 2600m. If he can hold a forward position from the good draw early, he is certain to get a nice run. If he finds the line like he did last week, he is a good rough place hope, like he was last week.
