John looks to have a very good book at Forbury tonight

It is not often that John heads down to Forbury Park, especially with no runners from the RJ Dunn team in. But tonight he travels to Forbury for a very rare Wednesday meeting in Dunedin and he looks to have a number of very good drives.

John's first drive is in Race Two where he drives Bakari for Graeme Anderson.

"Kevin Chapman owns this one and has sent him south to Graeme for an attitude adjustment. I have driven him once at Addington and he didn't go much good. He is a lot better than that though and should be a huge winning hope here."

In Race Three he combines with Wall Street Wolf, for the in-laws, Craig and Aimee Edmonds.

"This one is the real reason that I am heading down. He showed enough ability last season as a two year old in some nice fields. The draw makes it a lot tougher, but he has got to be a big hope in what is a pretty weak lot."

John drives Feather Boyz in Race Four for Eian Lamb.

"He's been going near enough this fella and it is definitely the weakest field he's been in for awhile. If he goes like he did at Addington on Show Day he can be winning this."

It is an in form Sheezus that he partners with in Race Five for Tony Stratford.

"I don't know too much about this one to be honest, but it must have gone well last time. Tony usually has them ready to go so from the good draw it must be a good chance too."

John's final drive in in Race Five with an old pro in Alexy for Dennis O'Connell.

"I don't think that I have driven him before, but he does seem to save his best for Forbury. He will need a bit of luck but he could be a place hope all the same."
