Blenheim Day One

After a superb weekend for both John and the stable last weekend, the first day of Blenheim today offers a great chance to carry on that momentum. It will again be the three year olds that offer the best chances of success.

Goldiloch in Race Two is a newcomer to the stable, but has made good progress heading into her debut run today. The trial form has suggested that she is doing all the right things and from the inside drive, with Ross to drive, she will get a great chance to open her account with a winning run.

Hayden's Meddle in Race Three, has been an absolute model of consistency. His undoing last week was the wide draw. Today he should have no excuses having drawn barrier one. There is probably no horse on the circuit more deserving of a win than him right now. He is a great winning chance.

Out Of Aces also in Race Three showed improvement over the two days at Nelson, but to be fair in what is a handy line-up, place chances do appear his best here.

Living Legend is in Race Four and put in two improved runs at Nelson. He should hit the line strongly here and must be at least a place hope again.

Foreverman was very good in his two runs at Nelson and must be accorded a great eachway chance in Race Five. He copped a fair bit of pressure down the backstraight on day two and still fought strongly for his placing.

Dream To Reality in Race Six, almost stole it on the first day at Nelson after doing plenty of work. This is a weaker field and he must be another great winning hope for the stable.

Billy Badger and Miss Daisy are both in Race Seven and are a chance of quinellaing this race. Billy Badger must be the one to beat. His win was authoriative on day one at Nelson and he will go on with it. Miss Daisy had no luck that same day but fought hard after doing a power of work. It would be no surprise to see her the hardest to beat today.

Gotta Go Ya Hu was massive on day two at Nelson. He has come through that race really well and with just a little bit of luck he will close out a great day for the stable.
