Yagunnakissmeornot looking for further Alex Park success

Top trotting mare Yagunnakissmeornot has hit a real purple patch of form over the winter with wins in four of her last eight race starts. She looks a great chance to add career win 16 to her impressive resume this evening.

A well supported favourite last time out on the track, Yagunnakissmeornot was always chasing from her 40m handicap, looked a big chance on the home turn, but battled over the last 100m to finish in 4th place. The run was full of merit though and tonight with a 10m let-up in the handicaps, expect her to use her good stand start manners to pozzie up closer to the pace. From there, driver Jack MacKinnon can launch her trademark big finish, right over the top of them. She looks a great winning chance.

The toughest opponents tonight appear the fellow back markers in The Almighty Johnson - also off 30m and the two 20m handicapped runners in Sunset Peak and Commander Paris.

Another stable runner that looks a great winning chance tonight is Cmeerock. She has been in a fine run of form since coming north inside the last two months. Tonight she clashes with five opponents in a race for the fillies and mares over the 2200m. Last time on the track she had to work early to find the lead and only succumbed late to the trailling runner. She is a lot better horse driven with a sit, so if the race pattern worked out better for her this evening, it will only increase her stocks. She is a very good mare and will be very hard to beat again.

Robbie Burns starts from 30m behind over the 2700m journey in Race Two. He has struggled in his last couple through a combination of the draw and handicaps. He is again the backmarker tonight off 30m, but with only two runners off the front this evening, this does negate the handicapping somewhat. If he is anywhere near his best this evening and can secure an economical run, look for him to launch a big finishing run late in the race.

The other runner tonight is Lambros in Race Six. He has been showing signs of improvement in his races. He contests a race for the junior drivers tonight and has a big advantage with Jack to drive. Added to that he also enjoys a favourable draw. He is an outside each-way hope at odds.
