Three year olds looking to qualify today

There will hopefully be two new qualifiers from the stable today as three year olds Feel The Money (in picture) and Jack Pack look to get their tickets.

Jack Pack (Heat Three - 11.30am) is a three year old American Ideal gelding out of Christian Watch. A half brother to the well performed Miss Daisy and Code Black, Jack Pack is in his second serious preparation after three workout runs earlier this year. He pleased John with a first up workout run last week and is expected to qulaify today.

Feel The Money (Heat Five 12.00pm) is another of the Westview Super Seventeen syndicated runners. A half sister to a good sort in Gentle Western, Feel The Money performed well in her first start away from the beach at last week's workouts. She ran a good third to a couple of nice types and John was very happy with her run, particularly the ground that she made late in the piece.

There are two other three year olds going around today - Henry Hubert (Heat Seven - 12.30pm) and Mahksman (Heat Eight - 12.45pm).

The final stable runner in at today's trials and having its first run in Canterbury for a long time is the well performed Robbie Burns (Heat Fifteen - 2.30pm). John has been really pleased with his progress since coming south, but has no set plan past today's heat, that includes a few rock stars in Lazarus, Heaven Rocks and Have Faith In Me.
