Letspendanitetogetha chases Central Otago Cup

The Washington VC six year old Letspendanitetogetha has done a really nice job for owners Reg Storer and Terry McDonald this season. Back behind the mobile gate in today's Central Otago Cup, he looks a good chance in a small, but even field.

With placings at each of his last three starts, Letspendanitetogetha is returning to something like the form that he was displaying through the early spring.  His driver today John Dunn was very pleased with his run last start in the Ashburton Cup.

"He's done a massive job to get as close as what he did, considering that they pretty much walked the first two thirds of the race."

With today's race run from a preferential draw, Letspendanitetogetha is drawn in barrier six in the seven horse field, with just AG's White Socks drawn wider.

It is a tough race to assess, but Letspendanitetogetha is a good eachway hope. The biggest challenges today will most likely come from Funatthebeach and AG's White Socks.

The only other runner today is Kotare Yolande in Race Eight. A Mach Three filly, she was super impressive on debut, but did have a few tricks up her sleeve, particularly pre-race.

Today, drawn barrier one, she will need to be on her best behaviour as she lines up against a very nice field of R55-R65 pacers. Kendra was one of the better fillies in the country as a two year old and showed with her run resuming that she will be a force to be recknoned with as a three year old also. She looks likely to start a hot favourite. The chances don't end there however, with Vin Scully and Fear Cruisin both in very good form.

John will be hoping that the trip away is the makings of his very exciting filly and if the debut run is any indication, Kotare Yolande will be a very big chance again today.
