Good representation in both islands
It will be another busy night for the stable with runners in both islands. At Addington the feature race is a free-for-all featuring stable runners Alta Orlando and newcomer, the proven Classie Brigade.
The Addington programme for us, kicks off in Race Two with Pro Surfer. Well supported again last week, he did not help his cause with an early break. However, this week he is again well drawn out of barrier one. Manners allowing he should pozzie up nice and handy on the pace and at his best would be at least a place hope.
Race Six is the free-for-all and like previous weeks is dominated by runners from our stable and the All Stars. In a small field, both of our runners have drawn handily. Alta Orlando has been battling away well over the past couple of months in similar fields and was a good second last time. He tends to race well at this time of the year and shouldn't be far away again. Classie Brigade has come to us from the Nigel McGrath stable. He is a proven competitor at this level and has trialled up well ahead of his resumption. He must also be accorded a place chance here.
Anamjor went around in the Nevele R fillies final here two weeks ago and lobs into one of the more even fields on the night, in Race Eight. She is well drawn in what is a small field and should get a nice run the trip. She is at least a good place chance here. Feel The Money is in super form and is well drawn. She deserves to start favourite and looks terribly hard to beat.
Our final runner tonight at Addington is I'm Tough (photo) in the last. He has done everything asked of him in his first three starts and showed some real toughness last week when running 4th. He had to do plenty of work, but never shirked the fight over the closing stages in a tight finish. He is drawn to go forward and looks a great eachway chance.
We also have three runners going around tonight at Alexandra Park. Wet My Whistle is the first of these in Race Two. He is out of form, but gets a beaut draw to work with. He can be a place hope if anywhere near his best.
Johnny White returns to Alex Park in Race Six. He is drawn really well in barrier one and should get a great trip. On his best form in the south, he must rate as an eachway chance at good odds.
Majestic Moment has been consistent and may get his best chance of a win in some time in Race Seven. This does seem a significant drop back for him and he appears one of our better eachway chances.
